Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data may be used for the following purposes:

  • Analysis and profiling
  • Marketing, advertising, and/or direct marketing for Bängeri Oy
  • Processing job applications, implementing recruitment measures, and related communication.

Data to be Registered

The following information about the registered individuals may be recorded in the personal data register:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Company and position
  • Company’s address details
  • Offer history or information from other contact.

Regular Sources of Data

The register is compiled from data provided by the individuals themselves and through website visitor tracking.

Regular Data Disclosures

The data controller does not disclose register information to third parties.

Right to Inspect and Correct Data

In accordance with section 26 of the Personal Data Act, the registered individuals have the right to inspect what information concerning them has been stored in the personal data register. A written inspection request must be submitted and sent with a signature to the aforementioned contact person for register matters. One inspection request per year is free of charge for the registered individual.

Additionally, in accordance with section 29 of the Personal Data Act, the registered individuals have the right to request the correction of incorrect information in the register. The correction request must specify the error to be corrected and the corrected information. A written correction request must be sent to the aforementioned contact person for register matters.

Data Deletion

Data can be deleted upon the request of the registered individual.

Principles of Register Protection

Data is transmitted over an SSL-secured connection. Data access is restricted to individuals employed by the data controller and other specified persons who require the information for their tasks.

Right to Object

The registered individuals have the right to object to the disclosure and processing of their data for direct marketing and other marketing purposes.

Bängeri.fi Visitor Tracking

This website uses Google Analytics software for user tracking, provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter “Google”). The tracking program’s JavaScript code runs on the service with each page load. Google Analytics identifies the user with so-called cookies, which are text files stored on the user’s browser. Data regarding website usage is transmitted and stored on Google’s servers, including in the United States. Google uses this data to compile reports on website usage for visitor statistics and service improvement.

The user data collected via cookies is anonymous. Users can block cookies by selecting this option in their browser settings, potentially limiting access to certain website functionalities. By using these webpages, users accept Google’s data collection for the purposes mentioned above.

Google Analytics also collects data on user interests based on the websites the user’s browser has visited within the Google Display Network, and from this data, it estimates user demographic information. Google Analytics only collects anonymous information about user group interests and demographic data estimates. Information about visited websites or individual visitors is not collected.
